Flow Battery Energy Storage

NORAM has worked with several flow battery suppliers to help package the technology into energy storage solutions.

In particular, NORAM has leveraged its electrochemical experience in the areas of electrolyte management, control of shunt currents and power electronics. NORAM’s interest is mainly in the integration of large scale flow batteries and stationary fuel cell plants of 50MW and above, that can offer bulk energy storage, peak shaving, transmission and distribution capital deferral, renewable capacity firming and energy arbitrage.
